Three (3) cheques required, made out to Greater Victoria Minor Ball Hockey:

- JERSEY DEPOSIT- $50 per player – post-dated to July 15, 2012
New and Returning players must provide proof of age (birth certificate) with registration form.

Where can I get the registration forms?
Visit the forms page and print off the PDF’s. We do not have an electronic registration system as of yet.
When does the season start?
Generally, this is our timeframe:
January/February: registration
Mid-March: Drafting of Teams, preparation of schedule
Mid-late March: Coach contacts team
Late March: first initial “practice”
April: Season officially begins
Late-June: Season ends
What is the ball hockey schedule?
The schedule is only created once we have completed all registration and the league has received confirmation of the available floortime. You can expect your child to play on average, 1 game per week and 1 or 2 practice sessions.

Where are the games played?
Games are generally played at Pearkes Recreation Centre, Eagle Ridge Community Centre, Panorama Recreation Centre. We are hoping to get floor time at other arenas as available. On some occasions, a team may travel to the Lower Mainland to participate in a tournament or game.

What is the registration refund policy?
A full refund will be available prior to March 15, 2012. A $50 fee will be applied to registration refunds from March 15, 2012 until April 15, 2012. After April 15th, no refund will be available.
What equipment does my child need?
CSA-approved helmet with full face protection (cage)
soft elbow pads (highly recommended)
hockey gloves
protective cup/jill
soccer-style shin pads
soft knee pads (highly recommended)
supportive running shoes (no skater shoes)
hockey stick with wooden or composite blade
